The following is the calendar of the services you will receive with your contract.
|
|
We will leave a small "leave behind" in your mailbox each time a service is completed (except for the weekly lawn cut). |
|
Please keep this calendar and kindly call us if you have any questions/concerns about the services provided. |

|
Spring Clean Up - March 22 - April 23 |
|
Remove and dispose of all debris accumulated during the winter |
|
Clean gutters |
|
Edge all sidewalks and curbs |
|
De-thatch lawn area |
|
Early spring fertilizer with pre-emergent crab grass preventer |
|
Deep spade edge all existing beds |
|
*All beds should be mulched after spring clean up. Please call for pricing. |
|
|
|
Weekly Lawn Cutting - April 26 - October 15 |
|
There are approximately 25 lawn cuttings during this period |
|
Depending on time of season, clippings will be mulched or collected |
|
Mow all turf areas to give a neat appearance |
|
Trim around all tree and shrub beds |
|
Blow clippings from sidewalks, driveways and roadway |
|
|
|
Bed Care - April 26 - June 4 |
|
Granular fertilizer around ornamental trees and shrubs |
|
Pre-emergent weed control, Treflan, is applied on mulch |
|
Pull weeds as necessary throughout the year |
|
Chemical weed killer (Round Up) will be applied as necessary |
|
Specific shrub problems such as insect, fungus, will be treated individually as necessary. Please call our office if you notice such problems |
|
|
|
|
|
Pruning - June 14 - July 23 |
|
Pruning may take place during regular mowing schedule or we may return if more time is needed |
|
Ornamental shrubs will be pruned to remove dead branches and reduce overall size |
|
Base suckers and cross branching will be cut out |
|
Clean gutters |
|
Hand pruning will be utilized as much as possible |
|
Hedging power shears will be used for all larger hedges and shrubs |
|
*Trees can be pruned at the same time. Please call for pricing. |

|
|
|
Aeration & Lawn Repair - August 23 - September 17 |
|
Aeration allows air, water and nutrients to reach the roots by relieving the compacted soil & opening thatched layer. |
|
It also stiumlates new growth in lawn areas. |
|
Top soil and seed all bare patches |
|
Overseed entire lawn as necessary |
|
Fall starter fertlize for new seed (no weed killer) |
|
|
|
|
|
Fall Clean Up - October 18 until last leaves drop (usually Dec.) |
|
Property will be visited three times from October through December |
|
Due to volume of leaves we will visit every two weeks |
|
Final clean up will take three weeks from last visit |
|
Leaves will be removed off all lawn areas during first two visits |
|
Clean gutters |
|
All leaves will be removed from lawn and beds during final appearance |
|
Lawn will be cut after each clean up to create a visual striping |
|
Final winter fertlizier application |
|

Residential Fertilizer Program |
|
Each round is six weeks apart |
|
Round 1 is applied during Spring clean up and includes a pre-emergent crab grass preventer |
|
Round 2 is applied in late Spring (April 26 - June 4) and includes low nitrogen with broad leaf weed control |
|
Round 3 is applied in early Summer (June 7 - July 16) slow release with broad leaf weed control |
|
Round 4 is applied in late Summer (Aug. 23 - Oct. 1) completed with aerations and starter fertilizer |
|
