The purpose of the Construction Division is to implement the
designs created by our design and sales staff. We do this with
trained and educated employees using the latest equipment and
tools available. Our construction staff takes pride in the work
they do and go the extra distance for perfection. The work will
stand the test of time and get better with age. Our landscapes
will create a better living environment at your home and thisenvironment
will add value to your property.
Site Work
This
is a catchall phrase for all demolition work necessary at the
beginning of the project. This is when we grade and excavate
to prepare the site for the new landscape. If necessary we will
transplant any desirable trees and shrubs.
Pavers
This includes walkways, patios and
driveways. We use Anchor Concrete brand pavers. The designs
and uses are limited only to our imagination.
Walls
This
includes landscape walls and structural systems. Examples includes
natural stones: fieldstone boulders, Penn. fieldstone, snapped
bluestone, and concrete blocks: Country Manor and Keystone.
Tree Work
Minor
takedowns and pruning are done by LandDesign employees. Larger
projects are completed by one of our sub-contractors.
Drainage
This
includes all exterior piping to eliminate water from the landscape.
Roof leader drain connections, French drains in wet poorly drained
areas, Curtain drains along property lines, footing drains around
foundations, gravel swales, and PVC channel drains along driveways
and patios.
Ponds
Creation
and maintenance of all natural and man made ponds. For new landscape
ponds we use Aquascape products.
Concrete
This includes flat work such as patios,
walkways, and driveways. We can stamp and color as necessary.
Other types of concrete work include: Belgium block curbing,
Stoops and stairs, building foundations.
Plant Material
This
includes purchasing, delivering, layout, and installation of
all types of plant materials. We take pride in selecting the
healthiest plants available, true to size and variety.
Irrigation
LandDesign
employees can complete small repairs. Larger projects are completed
by one of our sub-contractors.
Lawns
This
includes newly created lawns and repairs. Two options include:
Seed topped with starter mulch or Bluegrass Sod.
Fencing
LandDesign employees can complete
small jobs. Larger projects are completed by one of our sub-contractors.
Lighting
This
includes all exterior lighting for security and decoration.
We design with Low-voltage fixtures and a transformer with timer
and photocell. If 110 volt is necessary we can work with one
of our sub-contractors. |
